GO PRO !
BECOME A DIVE PROFESSIONAL

Divemaster
5-6 WEEKS INTERNSHIP AT KHAO LAK
INCLUDES 2 LIVEABOARD PRACTICAL TRAINING TRIPS
B27,800 - 35+ days - Up to 20 dives
B37,800 - 35+ days - From 20 to 40 dives

Please note: There is a A$120 processing fee payable directly to PADI for your Divemaster application. This is a standard fee and is the same price all over the Asia Pacific region. You will need to provide credit card details on your application form.

This is the first step to become a dive professional, and here you will perfect your diving skills, knowledge and theory to Instructor level. Supervising certified divers is a large part of the Divemasters role and we therefore include two liveaboard trips as part of our course, enabling you to observe and practise the skills necessary for leading dive groups, all under the careful supervision of your Instructor. Find out how to focus on safety at all times whilst ensuring that the dive is well managed and fun for all divers.

The other major role of the Divemaster is assisting Instructors in student training. You will participate in several Open Water courses and learn how to present your skills to students in a clear, precise way. You will also assist in training on advanced courses, and will conduct, with supervision, the Scuba Review course for certified divers.

As this course is an internship you will participate in all the varied activities of a busy Dive Center, from which you will gain the practical knowledge necessary to help you find future employment - if that is your desire!

Once certified, you may independently conduct the PADI Discover Local Diving experience and Scuba Review programme for certified divers, and also, under Instructor supervision, assist in various parts of the PADI Diver Education Programme. The PADI Divemaster manual is yours to keep at the end of the course.

You are also now qualified to be an underwater tour leader - or, in other words, a Divemaster!
