PADI 5 STAR IDC CENTER
Sea Dragon Dive Center has been providing unique experiences for both beginners and experienced divers to explore amazing marine life and wreck diving sites of Similan and Surin Islands since 1993.
We were the first dive center to open in Khao Lak and to gain PADI recognition, starting with day trips and courses. Later, we were the first diving school in Khao Lak to offer liveaboard trips to the Similan Islands, offering divers the chance to explore further and enjoy a more complete experience.
To this day, we are considered one of the best dive centers in Khao Lak, with our trips often fully booked months in advance.

MV ANDAMAN
Our famous MV Andaman is a 26-metre, steel-hulled vessel which will run 3-days, 4-days, 7-days and 11-days trips. She can carry up to 20 guests across her three decks, meaning there’s plenty of space to relax or socialize during Similan liveaboard trips.
MV EXPLORER
Our M/V Explorer is a 26-metre, wooden-hulled vessel which will run 3-day, 5-day, 8-day, and 13-day liveaboard Thailand trips. She takes a maximum of 16 guests across her three decks. Thoughtfully designed ensuite twin/double and standard double bed cabins.

- Number of dives: 14, including 1 night dive, 1 sunset dive

- Check-in time: all guest to check in between 16:00-17.00 on departure day at Phuket harbour (Asia Marina pier)
- Trip start time: 19:00 at Phuket harbour
- Trip end time: 17.00 at Phuket harbour
- On every trip, we have a barbecue on the sundeck
The South Andaman Liveaboard Trip

You have a lot of choice if you want to do diving day trips from Khao Lak. Short trips to our local house reefs and our three very different off-shore wrecks. Or take a day trip to the Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, the Surin Islands, or Richelieu Rock. If you have more time available check out our liveaboard section.
